Hi—My name is Donna Deason and I will be serving as your local director for Child Evangelism
Fellowship of West Central Louisiana.

I am very excited to be serving in what I believe to be the largest mission field ever—OUR CHILDREN –
the next generation!

In Matthew 18:14 Jesus said that it was not His will that even one of his precious children should perish
– to be separated from Him)

For the past years I have hosted a Good News Club in several city and parish schools. Because of the
increasing rate of violence, crime, and evildoing in our city and surrounding areas, the Mayor of
Natchitoches, Mayor Ronnie Williams, Jr., has endorsed the Good News Club as a tool we will use to
help save our children!

Our plan for this school year is to be more intentional and with urgency to have a Good News Club in
every school in Natchitoches parish to share the gospel with children.
Our motto is: EVERY CHILD! EVERY PARISH! EVERY DAY!

A Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with
groups of children for a fun-filled hour and a half after school program to present the gospel – the Good
News of Jesus. They hear a dynamic Bible Story – a memory verse to apply to their personal life – and
hear how valuable they are to God (their Creator) and the unconditional love He has for each of them!
We understand that in order for the violence, the crime, the wrong thinking to be stopped, then hearts
and minds have to be changed.

Only Jesus has the ability to change a heart. And He will do that as we share the gospel with young
children while their hearts and minds are soft and ready to believe in Jesus!
We have begun training teams of 7-10 volunteers to go into the Natchitoches Parish schools this school
year and host a Good News Club.

Please be in prayer for this huge endeavor. And if God would place on your heart the desire to help in
some way, please contact us. We need people to pray – to give financially – and those that would want
to be trained to go into a school with us.

In Deuteronomy 11:19 God commands us to teach our children We invite you to come help us do just
that!
